For years, traditional workouts felt overwhelming, especially while living with scoliosis and struggling to build strength. No routine seemed to fit. Everything felt like too much, too fast. The goal wasn’t to chase perfection, just to feel stronger, more stable, and more at home in the body again.
Pilates offered something different. It didn’t demand perfection. It invited progress. Each session became a way to feel a little more in tune, a little more grounded, physically and mentally.
That’s where the idea for Essentia came from. Inspired by the Latin word for “essence,” it’s a name that speaks to what really matters: building strength from the core, but also from within. Not just muscles, but mindset. Not just form, but feeling.
Ultimately, this belief shapes not just the way we practice and teach, but everything we do. It's at the heart of why we’re here.
